    Of course the middle class hasn’t been stagnant economically. There’s way more debt than there was thirty years ago.

    Of course you might want to look at the actual data and discover that consumer spending on internet connections actually amounts to 0.3% of the typical consumers basket of goods and services.

    But that’s not really the point. Even the lower middle class have richly improved access to information that simply weren’t available even to wealthy Americans a decade ago. That’s something pretty incredible.
