    I should point out that DOE is a bit weird. In fact, only a small part of its budget is devoted to finding new sources of energy.

  4. Two years later history’s greatest monster also gave us the Department of Education, aka ED so as not to be confused with the earlier established Department of Energy.

    Tough call to decide which is worse, though I’d probably go with ED.

    Because there are so many who want every area of their lives legislated and controlled by ‘someone else’… the test cannot be made.
