The U.S. military said Friday it may fill in the spider hole that Saddam Hussein used as his final hiding place to prevent it from becoming a tourist attraction.

Were I an enterprising military recruit, I'd sell all the tickets I could get someone to buy and tell the Army to take that $10,000 re-up bonus and shove it. Were I an enterprising commanding officer, I'd let all the Iraqis that wanted to sell tickets to it and teach them what real capitalism was all about. And were I a cynical SOB of the MP type, I'd walk every Ba'athist terrorist in custody by it and remind them every day of what happened to their hero. Such a USEFUL spider hole it could be if one only had a little imagination.
