Bad Traffic

Sadly, my first confirmation of the beheading came from SiteMeter. All of a sudden, my traffic went from brisk to phenomenal.

I’d have preferred to remain at brisk.

Site Meter says I've just blown through my high water mark for the past three weeks within the last ten minutes or so, and there's no top-out in sight yet.

I want hits; hell, we all do. But this is not quite what any of had in mind...

Drudge just put a pic of the beheading on his front page (at least when I checked a minute ago at 3pm EDT). Suffice it to say that I did not want to see that at all.
