Great pics--although the Wonkette one looks like you were photoshopped in-- a la Onion-style.

One question-- did anyone from the embassy participate? I once saw Friis Arne Petersen at the Red Sea in Adams Morgan and I swear he was hitting on the waitress and telling ribald jokes so all the restaurant could hear him! Weird dude! From seeing him on a couple of occacions, I would think he would find the whole thing funny.

If Ambassador Petersen wasn't there, did Søren Jensen make it? He is Petersen's right hand man.

Congrats to all of the Dane-iacs who made the rally!

Funny on the Wonkette photo. Likely, it's a depth of field issue. I'm just standing there waiting to talk to him, at a decent enough distance so as not to be rude.

Not sure if any embassy folks attended. It wouldn't surprise me terribly if they didn't, though. As Hitch noted in his announcement, the embassy tries not to endorse rallies and such.

Heh. Sorry, I just find it funny you even wrote that...

Mark: Heh. Well, I copied the photos and writing over from the other post but then inserted captions on all the photos to be consistent with the way I handled the ones I took. So, initially, readers might not have realized I was in the picture at all.

So ummm .... like where are the ski masks? And, I don't see any burning flags. What's up with that? Also, from looking at the pictures, I can't tell who your G*d is? (Kinda seems like a wimp to me).

Signed, Bewildered :-)
