Apparently, Andrew Sullivan isn’t the only one able to get serious cash from this blogging thing. Atrios asked really nicely for donations to replace a really pitiful laptop computer and actually called off the pledge drive because he’d received “way more than enough” to buy one. Then, while he was away at dinner, someone actually straight up bought him a laptop.
With all that loot, you’d think he could afford to leave BlogSpot. . . .

Don't feel left out James... If you ever need funds for a laptop or to pay the hosting bills, I want you to know I've got at least 30 cents I dug out the sofa that are all yours. ;-)
I dunno I just could not do it. If I want a new laptop, I'll work harder or save till i get it.
Ironically I think Sully has more of a point... He is now trying a new business model.
This just seems crass as Joy would say.
