Has anyone ever watched "Great Chefs" where to go to the restaurant and see how the world's best chefs really cook? You won't see an All Clad pot in the place. Real chefs don't use that crap. (unless they are in a TV studio.)
Go to a restaurant supply house and ask for what the major restaurants buy. 40-50 bucks later you have a fantastic pan. I buy all my cookware from a local supply house. You talk to people who know their products, pay half what most people pay and you get a better product.
