 Outside the Beltway

PHOTOSHOPPING

I missed a classic on InstaPundit yesterday. (Originally on Right Wing News, where I also missed it.)

About the Author: James Joyner is the publisher of Outside the Beltway and the managing editor of the Atlantic Council. He's a former Army officer, Desert Storm vet, and college professor with a PhD in political science from The University of Alabama. He lives just outside the Beltway in Alexandria, Virginia.

MaxSpeak has this rather amusing image atop his blog right now:

He also links this somewhat amusing, if rather late, parody article on Bush’s landing on the Abraham Lincoln. The premise of the piece is entirely wrong, though, as made clear by Bill Hobbs.

Actually, it's not made clear at all. Check the comments section on Max's post to link to the TomPaine.com article, which discusses Bush's military record on paper. When he showed up for duty, he logged days of service. There are no such logged days of service for the year in question.

It's the same story he's had all his life: he was born too rich and too well connected to fail, even when he really screws up.
