BLOGGING TOOLS

I’ve installed Brad Choate’s MT-Textile Plug-in for Movable Type. It has a lot of features which I’ll likely never use, but it is supposed to translate symbols generated by word processing documents into HTML-readable code, saving a lot of editing time.

Hat tip: Michele Catalano, who apparently now offers a service whereby she comes to your home and reads her blog to you naked.

Update (0944): It worked! I posted a long article from MSNBC, which always has a lot of junk symbols, and they all converted automatically.

This was by far the easiest-to-install MT plug-in I’ve encountered. There are two files that have to be FTP’d into directories. There are no permissions to set, even! Thanks Brad. Thanks Michele.

That's some impressive service Michele is offering there, heh.
