Howard Dean for Vice President

One of Matthew Yglesias‘ BlogAds encourages people to sign a petititon to get Howard Dean on the Democratic ticket as Vice President. I encourage all of you to sign it.

Howard Dean for Vice President petition

The petititon asks why Howard Dean should be on the ticket, in 25 words or less. My answer, with 14 words to spare: “Because he’s a friggin’ loon and it would help Bush win.” Feel free to use it.

Umm. Do you lot really want to risk it? There is the possibility that ticket would win.

And if I were on the other (al Qaeda's) side, there's nothing I'd like more than Howard Dean as the US president.

Yeah, and Ralph Nader might win, too--but I'm not up at night worrying about it.

It is obvious that all of you are jealous of Governor Dean's talents. Especially the "loon" (taking from your words). If Governor dean wins the Vice Presidential nomination, I'll come back to this very page for an apology.

http://www.draftdeanforvp.org - I've endorsed the effort.
