Men and Women National Review Loves
In honor of Valentine’s Day, NRO has compiled companion lists of Men We Love and Women We Love from contributors of the opposite sex.
The striking thing about the lists, aside from their ideological tilt, is that the women almost all chose men whose names are instantly recognizable while almost all of the men chose very obscure figures. Why that is, I haven’t a clue.

"almost all of the men chose very obscure figures. Why that is, I haven't a clue."
Maybe by picking the obscure, there's a chance of having one to ourselves, at least figuratively. Picking the well-known might be akin to picking the slut everyone's already had.
I'm just sayin'...
