Some woman has gone to way too much trouble to figure out the intricacies of Safeway’s “Buy seven sandwiches, get one free” promotion. Apparently, sandwiches purchased in different parts of the country are counted by zone, so that a sandwich purchased in Maryland and another purchased in California don’t count together toward the elusive free eighth sandwich.
It’s a cruel, cruel world.

Yes, but with Nancy in the speakership, injustice like this will be stamped out...if you feed the eighth sandwich to a child.
