2007 NFL Draft Live Blog

I’ll be live-blogging the 2007 NFL Draft along with some of my colleagues at OTB Sports.

The NFL has become the country’s most popular spectator sport partly because it has managed to turn even mundane offseason events like the combine and the draft into fan spectacles. The level of excitement and anticipation that surrounds this every year is truly remarkable.

The Oakland Raiders are on the clock and are widely expected to take LSU quarterback DeMarcus Russell. The Dallas Cowboys are currently picking 22nd overall, which means they likely won’t make a selection until late afternoon.

I forgot the draft. I wonder if the Bears have drafted yet.

I love seeing them draft late :). Wish they were drafting last.
