Edwards Questions Obama’s Masculinity

Edwards Questions Obama’s MasculinityMark Halperin reports that John Edwards “has real questions about [Barack] Obama’s toughness, his readiness for the office. He has real doubts about Obama, not just as a president, but as a general election candidate.” Apparently, Edwards summed this up with a one-word epithet that is also used to describe kitty cats and female sex parts.

Halperin has subsequently apologized for his “lack of judgment” repeating said word on live radio but Ace thinks he should instead apologize for “a stunning lack of irony.”

If nothing else, this should give Ann Coulter some new material.

This looks more like Halperin's words, rather than Edwards. I don't see where Halperin says he's quoting Edwards, could have been his word choice.

Given that Obama's still in the race and he isn't, does that make Edwards p****-whipped?

    Michael,

Fair's fair. She laid down the terms. If the GOP selected McCain as their nominee, then she was going for Clinton. We did are part, you just have to live with the results.

p.s. And don't even try to give us Rosie if the dems don't select Hillary. No take backs.

On a (tenuously) related note, well maybe not...
Have any of y'all visted JJ's other blog, Gone Hollywood?

Why I like James Joyner (even if I think his politics are goofy (some of the time)):

James founded the popular political blog Outside the Beltway in January 2003 and launched Gone Hollywood in February 2006 in the pursuit of mad blog bucks.

I think any post the mentions Ann Coulter should be cross-posted to GH.

    Nice pic over there, JJ.

For those interested, Mona Charen just published a new column about Obama that really explains his lack of substance. Check it out Here .

Not the same kind of mad blog bucks in that, I'm afraid. Linday Lohan topless photos, Britney Spears nude, Michelle Ryan in Playboy, etc. is where the big money is. Coulter sells books, to be sure, but doesn't dominate search traffic.

What's the Clintons' Plan B? If Obama wins the nomination, I expect the Dynamic Duo and their minions to sabotage Obama. The theory being that this clears the way for '12. If Obama wins, she can't challenge in '12. Also, by '16, she'll be nearly as old as Reagan was at the beginning of his first term and she'll have to fight the change mantra again.
