400 WEEKS
Drudge reports that that’s how many consecutive ratings periods NBC’s Today has been the top morning show. That’s rather remarkable, even given how lousy the competition is. Of course, it has been far longer than that since I regularly watched a morning show.

The last time I watched Today was longer ago than that. Dave Garroway and J. Fred Muggs. What a team. I never did like Phoebe B. Bebe. It was all down hill after than.
