Jesus, the fate of the free world is being decided on whether or not some guy in Texas in 1973 had an IBM Selectric? Am I dreaming?

This is not a story about the election. This is a story about ABC in general and Dan Rather in particular.

Hey, so here's what I think. The obvious conclusion is that Kerry's people did the forgery, right? But it's too obvious, huh? So, next I figure it must be Karl Rove, you know, pulling that same stunt he did with the planted bug in his office back in Texas, right? But Rove's too smart to do the same thing twice, isn't he? So, the Kerry people must have done it knowing that the media would bring up the old "bug in the office" thing and make it look like he did it, okay? But Rove knows that story would blow over in, like, two news cycles, right, so he did do it, to make it look like the Kerry people did it to make it look like he did it, follow me?
