U.S. Marines in Fallujah Finding Insurgents’ Tools of the Trade

U.S. Marines in Fallujah Finding Bomb-Making Labs, Hostages, Beheading Chambers(AP)

Wires, cell phones, Motorola handheld radios and a Plastic foam box packed with C4 plastic explosives sat in the dark building down an alley, along with three balaclava-style masks reading: “There is only one god, Allah, and Muhammad is his messenger.”

“It’s all significant because this is not the kind of stuff an average household has,” said Lt. Kevin Kimner, 25, of Cincinnati assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 5th Marines. “This is better than Radio Shack.”

More evidence the attack on Fallujah was justified.

Uh, is there anyone saying it wasn't justified? Besides Ted Rall?

dw,

Heh, I didn't see any direct condemnations, maybe we can just call my justification statement a premptive strike. My main interest in the article referenced was the type of stuff found.

Not that Rodney needs me to come to his defense but if I am not mistaken Kofi Annan took a rather dim view of an assault on Fallujah.

If you check the headlines (and in-article phrasing) of much of the MSM, I believe you will find a subtle slant towards 'how dare they...'.

Though I must admit that since Nov 3rd, the slant has been a good bit more subtle in such things...
