MLK Day Traffic Jam
I’ve got the day off for the King holiday. Since I’m not actually stuck in Beltway traffic as a result of this occasion, I hereby dedicate the daily linkfest accordingly:
- Steven Taylor reflects on the day in light of the U.S.’ spotty history of inclusion.
- Scott Ott uses the day to poke fun at Kofi Annan.
- Andrew Cory envisions a history when King had lived to run against Nixon in ‘72.
- Dean Esmay has a dream, too.
- LaShawn Barber and Michael (No Relation) King long for the old school civil rights leadership.
- Michele Catalano has some MLK-related recommended reading.
- Kevin Drum and Jeralyn Merritt reflect on King and the Old Testament’s “eye-for-an-eye” admonition.
- Michelle Malkin has a King roundup of her own.
