A Catholic Saying
There’s a saying that it’s hard to live as a Catholic, but it’s easy to die as a Catholic. I’m fascinated by all the coverage of Pope John Paul II’s death in that there is a serene peace among all the mourners; a faithful feeling of gratitude rather than a sense of loss. It’s touching and quite beautiful.
