What we have a problem with is the unacceptability of teenage marriage and the evanescence of the marriage bond.

Giving the extension of adolescence into one's early 30s, I'm not sure encouraging teens to marry is the answer. And, surely, teen marriage wouldn't render the marriage bond less evanescent.

The issue raises larger societal problems. I don't believe we have a problem with too much teenage sex and certainly not with teenage pregnancy. What we have a problem with is the unacceptability of teenage marriage and the evanescence of the marriage bond.
