		<description>Adidas made the mistake back then to develop special shoes for every kind of sports, while Nike et al saw their product, quite rightly, as fashion items. With the lower costs of R&amp;D they easily outcompeted Adidas, which now has to buy into the Amercan market to get soke serious share of it back.</description>
