Airman in Need of Support

SSgt Chris Short is trying to raise money to help one of his Airmen whose wife and newborn baby are in critical condition at the base hospital. Obviously, the medical expenses themselves are taken care of by Uncle Sam but the costs for out of town family members to fly in and stay is not.
If you can help out by making a donation and/or helping spread the word, it’d be appreciated.
UPDATE: Things are looking up but more funds are still needed.
About the Author: James Joyner is the publisher of Outside the Beltway and the managing editor of the Atlantic Council. He's a former Army officer, Desert Storm vet, and college professor with a PhD in political science from The University of Alabama. He lives just outside the Beltway in Alexandria, Virginia with his wife and infant daughter.
