BAMA TAXONOMICS

Jen e-mails and wonders why, given my Weevilosity, I have not weighed in on the Great Alabama Tax Controversy. Honestly, I’ve only paid peripheral attention to it, although it definitely looks like Bob Riley has gotten himself into hot water with his base on this one.

Kris Vilamaa has posted quite a bit on this topic the last few days at The World Around You and Jen herself has weighed in on it at her blog, Jen Speaks. Steven Taylor also published an op-ed on this one in the Mobile Register some time back.

About the Author: James Joyner is the publisher of Outside the Beltway and the managing editor of the Atlantic Council. He's a former Army officer, Desert Storm vet, and college professor with a PhD in political science from The University of Alabama. He lives just outside the Beltway in Alexandria, Virginia with his wife and infant daughter.

Thanks for the link.

It's just that I look to you to keep me (and the rest of the blogosphere) up-to-date with the goings on in 'Bama.

I couldn't believe that I would happen upon such an important story before you.
