Riiiiiiiight. Those of us who remember how the Beeb sexed up reports of how the government allegedly "sexed up" the intel regarding Iraq, might have trouble seeing such hijinks as "assuming their audience is intelligent."

I am not sure why that is "interesting" that the "article refuses to mention" Islam. Maybe in Bob Owens' simple mind, he needs clarifcation about basic facts regarding the world, but only a complete moron is unaware of the fact that Pakistan is 97% muslim. The BBC generally assumes that their audience is intelligent. I know that this may surprise people like Owens who are used to the platitudes that a "confederate yankee" might be subjected to via US media outlets.
