Update: My tech guy installed a new spam filter last night because they old one was interfering with a plug-in that was necessary to fix some load issues on the site. The short-term consequence has been an inordinate number of legitimate comments and trackbacks getting caught in the WordPress moderation queue. We’re looking into it. In the meantime, just send the trackback once and I’ll rescue them periodically. Sorry for the inconvenience.

He's a former Army officer, Desert Storm vet, and college professor with a PhD in political science from The University of Alabama. I submitted a link, but while I think it got through but is still waiting in moderation, I had to use a standalone trackback pinger to send it: When I tried to submit with my Haloscan account, I got an error message. The same thing happened a few times on two other WordPress blogs I submitted to, and I had to use a standalone trackback pinger instead. Can you check to see that it accepts Haloscan submissions correctly? Thanks.
