Kim and I’ve just gotten back in from our short vacation, a Partner-VP retreat with her firm, Public Opinion Strategies. The return was reasonably uneventful, despite steady rain, except that the onramp to I-295 was closed because some moron trucker his cargo into a bridge this morning, causing a 48-hour closure. Even with the need to turn around and detour onto I-495 (the dreaded “Beltway” that is this site’s namesake) the trip was still reasonably quick.
