Best of OTB – May 17, 2003

As part of a continuing series, I’ll be highlighting material buried deep in the OTB archives that I still find interesting. The blog started in January 2003 and there have been over 16,000 posts; some of them have to be good!

  • GAY STRATEGERY” takes a look at a Kevin Drum proposal to make gay marriage the centerpiece of the 2004 campaign.
  • IT SMELLS LIKE FRANCE” has an awful de-Baathification pun.
  • MILITARY HUMOR” highlights the versatility of the F-word.

About the Author: James Joyner is the publisher of Outside the Beltway and the managing editor of the Atlantic Council. He's a former Army officer, Desert Storm vet, and college professor with a PhD in political science from The University of Alabama. He lives just outside the Beltway in Alexandria, Virginia with his wife and infant daughter.
