Mister Snitch identifies seven key styles he’s noted in the Blogosphere and assesses the strenghts and weaknesses to those approaches.
I’m something of a cross between #1, #3, and #7 with some occasional #2 thrown in. If traffic is your chief goal, I’d recommend focusing on #2.

He's a former Army officer, Desert Storm vet, and college professor with a PhD in political science from The University of Alabama.
