Bloggingheads.tv
My Bloggingheads.tv debut, opposite Ezra Klein, is up. After some snafus, we recorded it Friday afternoon. We discuss the hubbub around General David Petraeus, President Bush’s speech calling for more time in Iraq, the Fred Thompson campaign, and the difficulty of some presidential candidates with impressive resumes to get any traction in this campaign.
My longstanding skepticism about bloggers branching out to do amateur videocasts remains intact. Big Media Ezra, veteran of “Hardball” and other venues, is better at this than I am but we’re both likely better writers than talking heads. Still, it was an enjoyable conversation. Whether you’d like to spend 47 minutes or so watching it is entirely up to you.

You're such a shameless, self-promoting huckster, James! [/sarcasm]
I liked the diavlog. Klein was very decent, and your discussion was civil. Sometimes, the best of Bloggingheads.tv reminds me of classic PBS politics programs. I wish someone could recreate "Firing Line" with videobloggers.
I really like Bloggingheads. Really like it. Something for everyone. Glad to see you on.
