BRAINS AND SMARTS

John Lemon’s Barrel of Fish has several recent posts and ensuing comment discussions on the issue of why academics, despite comparatively high IQs, seem not to have much sense when it comes to matters of public policy. They’re worth a read. (I’d Permalink, but, alas, he’s using the AOL of the Blogosphere.)

About the Author: James Joyner is the publisher of Outside the Beltway and the managing editor of the Atlantic Council. He's a former Army officer, Desert Storm vet, and college professor with a PhD in political science from The University of Alabama. He lives just outside the Beltway in Alexandria, Virginia with his wife and infant daughter.
