 Outside the Beltway

BRING BACK GORE

Rosemary Esmay, after watching last night’s debate, wants Al Gore to come out of retirement so that there will at least be a choice next November. She offers rather unkind assessments of all the Democratic contenders except:

Al Sharpton - Scary, I liked him last night. He was funny. He stayed on message. The message “Bush is a gang leader”. But at least he stayed on message.

About the Author: James Joyner is the publisher of Outside the Beltway and the managing editor of the Atlantic Council. He's a former Army officer, Desert Storm vet, and college professor with a PhD in political science from The University of Alabama. He lives just outside the Beltway in Alexandria, Virginia.

As tactical matter I wish Dean would get the nomination. I'd love to see Bush Carry 49 states.

But I gotta admit... Gore would be more fun to watch.

Anybody seen a picture of Gore latley??? Did he drop that weight?
