Tom Shales and Jim Bawden have warm tributes to Buddy Ebsen, who died Sunday at the age of 95.
About the Author: James Joyner is the publisher of Outside the Beltway and the managing editor of the Atlantic Council. He's a former Army officer, Desert Storm vet, and college professor with a PhD in political science from The University of Alabama. He lives just outside the Beltway in Alexandria, Virginia with his wife and infant daughter.

The amazing thing is that I thought he died at least a decade ago.

And is it freaking anybody out that BUDDY Hackett and BUDDY Ebsen died within a week of one another. That is really freaky.
