Bush Approval Rating Still Awful

President Bush’s job approval rating, as measured by Gallup, remains mired in the 1/3 range. The headline on this result is “Bush’s Approval Rating Returns to Low 30s” but, as Gallup analyst Lydia Saad observes, the continuity, not the fluctuation is the real news here:

According to a new Gallup Poll, conducted Oct. 4-7, 2007, President George W. Bush’s job approval rating from the American public is an anemic 32%. That is slightly below his previous reading of 36% from mid-September, but is identical to his average approval score for all Gallup Polls conducted thus far in the second half of the year. Nearly two out of three Americans currently disapprove of Bush’s job performance.

The graphic is even more clear:

Bush Approval Rating Gallup

This is about as flat as you can get in a poll with sampling error of +/-3 percent.

Bush's approval rating is important because _____?
As far as anyone knows, he is not running for office. The last poll taken that made any difference was in 2004. Seems he won that one. Democrats have lied about this man from the beginning of his Presidency to this very day. The fact the MSM has hammered him with lies every day probably has something to do with the low rating.

Every President has had poor approval rating. Even the Lefts God Bill Clinton had a poor rating of 36% 5/26-27/93, Yank/Time/CNN Poll. He refused to take on international issues such as the Uss Cole, Our Embassy attacked, trade towers in 93 and so on.

GWB is more about doing the right thing not the popular.

I may not like how this war is being conducted as I find it repugnant to hand cuff our troupes and not let them do what had to be done in WWll. Kick Ass and break things and say sorry after it is over.

I wish men like U.S. Grant, G. Patton, Colonel Hal Moore were still around. Men who understand that war is awful and the faster and more violent the bloodshed is the faster the enemy is destroyed and a message is sent to others who would take their place. We will kill you in every horrible way possible to make you stop hurting innocent people or to remove their liberty.

We need men who would never do their job based on a poll. They would do what was right to get the job done. They would WIN in a swift and decisive manner.
