C. Dodd Harris Rejoins Blogosphere at OTB

I’m pleased to announce that I have lured C. Dodd Harris, Esq. out of blogging retirement and persuaded him to join the staff at OTB.
His blog, ipse dixit, was a fixture of the blogosphere when I started OTB in January 2003 and was going strong until he abruptly shut it down in the summer of 2005. Dodd is an attorney, a veteran of the United States Navy, and a fairly good poker player. Sources tell me that he can kill a mime using only his thumb, although I have not been able to corroborate those accounts.
Welcome to the fold.
About the Author: James Joyner is the publisher of Outside the Beltway and the managing editor of the Atlantic Council. He's a former Army officer, Desert Storm vet, and college professor with a PhD in political science from The University of Alabama. He lives just outside the Beltway in Alexandria, Virginia.

Dodd, glad to see you again amongst the land of the blogging. Presumably you'll be the OTB Sports resident Raider expert now. And then there's always the caption contests...

Thanks, James, for bringing me aboard and for the warm welcome. It's a true honour to be asked to be part of this crew. I can make no promises as to what I'll post about - right now movies, TV, and poker interest me more than politics, but I pretty much always have something to say about politics, too.
As for Caption Contests, I've been very pleased that Rodney, Charles, and several other old regulars from my site have kept the torch flying over here. Rodney's shown he can do it far better than I ever did, so I'll not encroach on his territory.
Can we start up the Dodd for President shtick?
