Vernon Wormer, former dean of students at Faber College, once said that “fat, drunk, and stupid is no way to go through life.” He may have been mistaken:

Forget waxed chests and rock-hard abs. A new survey finds ladies like their men scruffy, a wee bit chubby — and definitely not a metrosexual.
Playgirl asked 2,000 of its readers what they find sexy in a man and the answers were surprising: 42% said they thought love handles were kind of sexy and 47% approved of chest hair.

Rich playboys need not apply — only 4% of women said the size of a man’s wallet mattered. Metrosexuals are also out: 73% want a guy who is “rough around the edges.”
Luckily, I’ve got “rough around the edges” down to an art form.
The article also notes that while women make practical dating choices, men remain as superficial and shallow as ever. As the saying goes, if it wasn’t for double standards, I’d have no standards at all.

Whew. Looks like I'm keeping up with the Jones's.
I hope Playgirl doesn't take that to heart and start showing pictures of that "kind of man". Not that I'm "reading" Playgirl....
I'm sure the magazine won't change, once they realize that women enjoy looking at men they'd never even think of actually spending time with.
(...and they say we men are superficial and shallow...) ;-)
