Oh, c'mon, James. Joe Carter, in his rambling essay on what he learned working for the Huckabee campaign, has as much as told us that the target will be Romney, which leaves little doubt who the source will be. I predict the most serious charge in this coprography will boil down to "campaigning while Mormon." Which seems to be all a lot of people need to hear.

Yeah it wasn't that long ago we were supposed to be teated to some juicy story about a Dem that the LA Times was said to be sitting on and having hand wringing moments as to if they should publish.

Would be interesting to have the full headers of this email to see where it loops back to for it's real origin, but has all the smell of a dirty trick or a simple diversion.

Was Kerry in Cambodia on Christmas eve 1969, as "seared" into his memory?
NO
Did Kerry earn a Purple Heart as a result of enemy action?
NO
Did Kerry travel to Paris and meet with RVN diplomats, while his country was fighting the RVN?
YES
Did Kerry allege before the US Senate that US troops in Vietnam were guilty of a wave of war crimes?
YES

Its amazing how many people (empty suits?) still defend and support this transparent dishonest empty suit.

Well, Kerry didn't spend Christmas in Cambodia. I don't know all the claims he made, but fact is he still has not released his navy records. If you were not there STFU and listen to those who were. Calling honorable men liars is something lefties do easily because they have no honor.

No one ever accused the SBLs of being liars because they objected to Kerry's testimony or other activities after his return. Everyone understood their right to express their opinions on those matters. The lying charge is focussed on the many false charges they made about every aspect of his service in theatre.

They were not content to express their opinions - they purposly set out to smear the man with any rhetorical bludgeon they could find. And thus have become the paradigm example of dishonest political hackery for our time.

I can't let you have the last word on this one. The Swift Boat complaint about Kerry about what he did after his return from RVN, and the one that resonated with other VN vets like me concerned his anti-war activities with Winter Soldier and his Senate testimony in their support.

Reminding the American public of those activities was a public service, and certainly was not inaccurate in any respect.

I ran across a website once of a bunch of people who consider McCain to be somwhat akin to a traitor, responsible for the loss of several / many of his fellow pilots, a terrible pilot himself who just got his gig because his father was an admiral, and who greatly exaggerated the conditions of his imprisonment, or some such stuff like that. They seem to have that same hatred and glint in the eye as the SwiftBoatLiars did.

I’ve decided to take my chances and skip the event That's a rock solid call. It has a sort of "9-11 CAUSED BY V1@GR@!!!1!!" feel to it. laura, I'm still waiting on that there 180 and the old libel and slander lawsuits. What, no suits? Hmmm. Perplexing, especially after his big dossier announcement. Oh, he waited until his time expired before compiling and announcing said dossier? Sounds perfectly reasonable for a man who cares so much about his good name. In light of John's periods of silence followed by bursts of obfuscation, I've really decided that I don't much care anymore. He's a spent round anyway.
