Thanks Boyd, It did say 'MasterChief' in the original caption at yahoo news, one of the reasons I chose to use the familiar term 'Chief' instead of 'Buddy' or 'Pal', but the correction is noted. ;)

Rodney, he's a Master Chief, not a Chief. He may well take the President up on the rear admiral offer (although since he's an Aviation Machinist Mate and not a submariner, that point is very much in question), but...he's a Master Chief (ADCM).
