Just wondering: Why is this man a hero for doing something a Soviet dog managed 46 years ago?
Not to mention the Space Monkey immortalized by John Prine.

The difference is that the dog 46 years ago (Laika) didn't survive.

It's a sad story, especially for a dog person like me.

I was scratching my head about this story, too.
"In an upcoming National Geographic special, a Chinese astronaut re--enacts the flights of early space pioneers."
