There's one thing you can't deny about Christopher Reeve - everyone had an opinion. He was either a testament to bravery in the face of adversity, or the self-obsessed poster boy for the bitter disabled.

I think Christopher Reeve will be remembered as one of the great men of our time. One day when we can treat injuries such as his successfully, people will look back at his life as marking the turning point in the search for a cure for paralysis.
