According to the NYT, race rears its ugly head again:

Clinton Wins West Virginia, With Race a Factor
By PATRICK HEALY

Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton won a lopsided victory over Senator Barack Obama in the Tuesday primary in West Virginia, where racial considerations emerged as an unusually salient factor.

Mrs. Clinton drew strong support from white, working-class voters who have spurned Mr. Obama in recent contests.

I am impressed. Hillary Clinton won in a state with a population of less than two million (about the size of the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex). 95% of the state is white. Less than 15% has a college degree.

Let her smile tonight. She's earned it.

And Huckabee won the Republican race with 52% of the vote, with McCain collecting only 1% of the vote.

In a caucus. Back in February.

And Huckabee won the Republican race with 52% of the vote, with McCain collecting only 1% of the vote. Hell, even Romney collected 47% of the votes cast. Doesn't say much for the apparent Republican nominee.

Bob Barr keeps looking better all the time.
