CNN Hires DeLay as Conservative Voice

Former House Majority Leader Tom Delay on his hiring by CNN as a commentator: “I may be their only conservative on air, but someone has to do it.”
If I were conspiracy minded, I’d guess CNN purposely went out to find the worst possible representative they could find for the conservative position. I’m sure it was just a coincidence, however.

I wonder if his contract has a clause that covers if he's convicted & goes to prison...
Just bear in mind, JJ, that DeLay is a hero to a great big chunk of the conservative Republican Party. It's not like he's y'all's version of Al Sharpton.

Who are these people, exactly? Now, granted, there are those who praised his acumen as a Whip and admire his pugnacity. But I haven't seen much "DeLay for President" talk, either.

He's popular in Mississippi, and by inference in a good chunk of the South. I confess to having no idea what portions of the blogosphere have any use for him, but many of the faithful still get their news from Fox, not LGF or RedState.
I for one still won't watch those traitors.
