Creationist Kent Hovind Arrested

Kent Hovind, aka Dr. Dino, was arrested Thursday. Hovind is well known in Evo-Creo circles as a proponent of Creationism and a bad one at that. Hovind is a young Earth Creationist who holds the belief that Noah also had dinosaurs like Deinonychus antirhoppus (a 10 foot long dinosaur, and those upraised talons on the foot were deadly slashing implements) and Charcharodontosaurus-saharicus (this therapod is believed to have been up 45 feet long, weighing 8 tons and having a 6 foot long head with teeth 8 inches long…better be a big ark). Nevermind what things like this ate or what Noah did with all that dino dung.
Any how it looks like Hovind has bigger worries than the current depredations of Evilutionists. Hovind faces 58 charges which include income tax evasion, making threats against investigators, and filing false complaints against Internal Revenue Service agents. Hovinds wife Jo Hovind was also indicted on 44 counts. Oh well, so much for Hovind’s notions that he doesn’t have to pay income taxes.

I always bring up the legal problems of my opponents in order to win my arguments. Because arguing the facts of the argument at hand is just too damn hard (and I don't agree with this guy).

Well, I did address one of his arguments (Noah, the global flood, etc.). Granted I was sarcastic, but when you look at his arguments it is hard to be anything but sarcastic.
Leaving aside the ad hominem body of the post and addressing the issue of dinos on the ark: If you believe that God sent a flood that lasted 40 days and covered the entire earth for most of a year, it's not much of a stretch to believe He could also have somehow knocked out a Deinonychus antirhoppus for the duration of the trip.
You're correct, naturalistic explanations fail to explain the flood and many other Christian/creationist beliefs. But that's because we start with a different set of assumptions.

Seriously though, believing that God can control the weather does not mean I believe He will control it at my beck and call. A God who did that wouldn't be much of a God.
Why don't you try actually watching the videos? Noah could have taken baby dinosaurs on the boat with him couldn't he? Try actually watching the videos, he answers questions just like that. Also you're putting your opinion on the article, not the actual facts. Dr Hovind is a minister, he does God's work. And the other charges about filing false charges against the IRS, well that's just a matter of perception isn't it. If you feel that the first charges are invalid, then a claim for false arrest would be valid. I stand behind him. And for the record, there is nothing wrong with the bible. Find me one problem with the KJV bible, find me one and then you can talk.
Whatever Rob. If you want to believe psuedo-science that is your right. By the way, I'd like to see you get a live baby crocodile on-board a boat. Remember, no tranquilizers, no modern day equipment, etc. Use just the stuff Noah would use. Then keep it on that boat for 40 days and let us know how that works out.

Mr. Steve Verdon is no more than a school yard bully here. If he truly believes Dr. Hovinds arguments to be so weak, then he should do a videotaped debate with Dr Hovind and see who is the true fool here. Rants like these are common amid the ignorance of the evolution religion.
