DA (BANK ONE) BEARS

I had seen a reference to this earlier today but assumed it was a joke I wasn’t in on. Alas, ESPN confirms that Chicago’s NFL franchise, for the next 12 years, is “Bears football presented by Bank One.”

Terms are not disclosed in the story but, for the right price, I can be had–probably for less than the Bears. And, not to be immodest, but I’m a better blogger than the Bears are an NFL franchise. I’ll gladly become “OTB, presented by (corporation)” or some variation for the right amount of cash. Indeed, if you put enough into my tip jar, I will consider renting you a sponsorship for a day, a week, or even longer.

I can't tell you how much fun I'm having filling on the corporate sponsorship blank for OTB...I think this should be a contest.
