Daschle like most other looser Democrats believes Republicans are guilty of a crime just by holding office. The American people rejected Daschle and his slash and burn tactics and embraced Bush. If Democrats think they will win elections by protecting terrorists the Republicans have won already.

I would not expect to hear anything else but a negative response from Daschle. Daschle was the head guy in the Democrat obstructionist movement in the Senate and he paid for it with a defeat for his seat. He got exactly what he deserved. Daschle played the obstruction game with his fellow obstructionists and put this country into a downward spiral of hate that has never been seen before in the US political arena. His antics continue today with Reid, Kennedy, Lahey, Finegold and the rest of the Hate Bush Croud. Cngress has sank to a new low in the approval ratings and the Hate campaign waged by the Democrats is the main reason for the basement ratings. The way things look now is the Democrats, by their continuation of the obstructionists tactics, are going to pay dearly in the next election. It would surely be good for the entire country if these do nothing obstructionists were defeated, just like Daschle was, for their political offenses to the American people.
