Dennis Kucinich Quits White House Race

Dennis Kucinich has called it quits.
Democrat Dennis Kucinich is abandoning his second, long-shot bid for the White House as he faces a tough fight to hold onto his other job — U.S. congressman.
In an interview with Cleveland’s Plain Dealer, the six-term House member said he was quitting the race and would make a formal announcement on Friday. “I will be announcing that I’m transitioning out of the presidential campaign,” Kucinich said. “I’m making that announcement tomorrow about a new direction.”
Kucinich has received little support in his presidential bid; he got 1 percent of the vote in the New Hampshire primary and was shut out in the Iowa caucuses. He did have a devoted following.
Kucinich, 61, is facing four challengers in the Democratic congressional primary March 4, and earlier this week he made an urgent appeal on his Web site for funds for his re-election. Rival Joe Cimperman has been critical of Kucinich for focusing too much time outside of his district while campaigning for president.
And he was this close, too.
Sadly, I’d somehow missed this news: “His decision comes a month after the death of his youngest brother, Perry Kucinich.” Sad news, indeed.

I know it gets said a lot but his wife is ridiculously hot.

I mean I kind of like the guy, but gawd-dayam!
It gets said a lot because she is indeed RIDICULOUSLY HOT. Like, given the choice b/t her and Nicole Kidman, I would wither & die on the spot like Buridan's ass.
She evidently was attracted to his ideals. I, too, would be a far-left moonbat, if it got me in good w/ Ms. Kucinich. (Yes, I know OTBers think I already *am* a far-left moonbat, but really, it's more center-left moonbat.)
I, like the previous two commenter's, am at the point where I STILL cannot get over how he pulled that chick. I don't know what his bankroll looks like but i'm guessing she's a big league wallet sniffer.
As far as I know, Kucinich has no fortune to speak of. He is, however, hung like an elephant.
Has anyone heard where the Kuchnich supporters will go to? Or do you think both of them will sit out the election?

I never supported Dennis Kucinich, his politics were on were always on the other side of the buffet table that I ignored.
The thing I liked about him was that I always thought he professed his political beliefs without hesitation. To me, that makes him an honest guy that I could truly disagree with without attacking his personal character while ogling his wife.
