Interesting in that PG County had an announcement that they were designation the area around Andrews as a National Defense and Technology Corridor and that they hoped to get MD's state DHS HQ and as I read it after that they were making a bid for the federal DHS HQ in the area.

They have enough security to keep the bad guys out. The President's helicopter facility is next door in Anacostia Naval Station, so they have plenty of firepower.

Dude. I've lived on Bolling. I've heard the gunfire on the other side of 395. Security there is _not_ sufficient.

Why, at a time in which gas prices are rising, the costs of technology are falling, and large facilities present more tempting targets does concentration like this make sense?

St. Elizabeth's is in the great neighborhood of SE DC, Anacostia. The only thing it has going for it is the great view of the Potomac, the Capitol and the Monument from where it sits. The single HQ building won't be that exposed as the hospital complex is sprawling and is walled off from the outside and I'm sure there will be plenty of security. DIA and the DNI complex is right down the street on Bolling AFB.
