Economy in the Toilet?

The photo and headline at right are currently atop YahooNews.

The pic didn’t seem to go with any of the other stories and, sure enough, clicking it sent me to “White House tells banks to stop hoarding money.”

It’s not clear whether this was some sort of goof or whether this is YahooNews’ editorial commentary on the value of American money these days.

Or, perhaps it’s some sort of commentary on the seriousness with which people are taking orders from President Bush?

Either way, it’s amusing.

Well, seeing as she is grabbing paper towels, I think she is looking for something to scrub the CDS stains off the rim of the toilet.

If the economy is in the toilet, why are new housing sales up, preexisting home sales are up and unemployment up slightly? I do not wish to say things are going well, but toilet? The Democrats and the media have been telling us this lie for some time. Democrats enabled the collapse of the houseing market by allowing Freddie and Fannie to back up bad loans. Schumer made the call on the Indy bank that caused the run. Timing is everything. What did you pay for gasoline before the Democrats took over the house and senate? What was the unemployment rate? Who stands to gain from a poor economy? Leftwing, lying, piece of sh*t Democrats.
