 Outside the Beltway

Election for God

Megan McArdle has an interesting Easter question: “[S]ay they were holding an election for God. Further, say the fringe benefits were so terrific that you wanted the position. Finally, assume that once elected, you can’t be deposed. What’s your campaign platform? Why should we elect you to this desireable position?”

Some amusing and interesting answers from her commenters. No word yet on whether Fred Thompson is running.
