 Outside the Beltway

Electoral College: Bush 348, Kerry 190

So says Slate in their Election Scorecard - Where the presidential race stands today.

The polls backing up their projections are laid out in detailed tables at the link. This seems a tad optimistic although, as Glenn Reynolds notes, Slate isn’t known as a Republican shill.

Maybe they are trying to scare the Dems into action. However this seems likely to depress them.

And the poll was done by /SurveyUSA (aka my daughters 3rd grade class at Joe McCarthy Elementary school).

SurveyUSA is a perfectly respectable outfit. But only a handful of polls in the grid were done by them--or any single pollster.

LOL what a fucking joke. You guys have Florida and colorado and wyoming , and NM listed as STRONG for bush? Are you on the pipe? For any poor misinformed reader who wants to know what the actual standings are go to google and type in "electoral college poll standings" pick 9/10 and you'll find one very similar to this.

If you read this page thinking its factual instead of a slanted right wing "poll" check you're facts.
