Hmmm . . . we could also have the Buffalo Bills of Orchard Park (OP being where they play - a suburb of Buffalo). Or, if you want to use teams that moved, how about the Baltimore Colts at Indianapolis, or the Cleveland Browns of Baltimore (or the Baltimore Ravens from Cleveland? The Cleveland Raven-Browns of Baltimore?).

Ridiculous.

Aw, let 'em call themselves the Aztlan Angels, if they really want to market themselves as broadly as possible in that region.

Lets see this from Arty's POV. He's got the third highest payroll in all of the major league, while maintining affordable seats for the masses (unlike some low payroll team that still managed to rack up higher ticket prices). He's committed to winning, and that commitment doesn't come cheap. Since he really cannot pull a George Steinbreiner (who setup the YES cable system to guarentee revenue), he really needs alternative method of generating money. Having the original Los Angeles name back is one method. His original fortune comes from Outdoor's ad. And he can see angle to make this pay.
